When my clients share Spiritual Counseling sessions with loved ones they’re usually focusing on their individual lives, challenges, desires, and growth, including identifying ways to support each other outside of sessions. We can work on each person within one session or focus on one person, alternating who is focused on each time. When it's the other person's turn, clients listen.
We build a supportive container together, tapping into all of our powers, wisdom, and brilliance. Collective attention and presence leads to all types of healing, growth, and breakthroughs for individuals. Some clients arrive wanting to work on "problems" in their relationship. We work together to get specific about the focus of each session and actions after each session. Sometimes clients use shared Spiritual Counseling sessions to go beyond their individual lives, brainstorming ways to live as a team, like roommates designing weekly rituals rooted in their ancestral cultures or a parent and teenager talking through how to have more fun together.
