Coaching For Organizations

As an organization, institution, or business, you can create necessary changes to foster inclusion, belonging, and anti-racism. Through racial justice leadership development for executive leadership and staff through one-on-one sessions, as well as transforming group dynamics and workplace culture, together we shift your organizational structures to create racial equity and belonging.
As more organizations and companies take new actions toward addressing systemic racism, many leaders are wondering what changes their teams can take. Different groups need different supports when it comes to transformation toward racial justice, equity, and cultures of belonging. And many leaders know their organization wants a transformation experience beyond corporate models of DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion).

Through Liberation Consciousness, your organization/institution/business will receive a customized map for your current growth spurt, with supports that may include advising on and facilitated processes for:
  • strategic partnership building for anti-racism,
  • paving way for BIPOC leadership,
  • racial justice leadership coaching for white team members and executive staff,
  • transforming “whiteness” cultural components in workplace culture,
  • expanding strategic plans to lead with racial justice,
  • aligning the board of directors with racial justice best practices, and/or
  • visioning structural changes to organizational policy and priorities to address racism.

​To receive your customized supports, we’ll work in a variety of grouping sizes based on your needs, and while we may do some all staff or large group sessions, most sessions will be conducted in small groups or one-on-one. Most coaching phases reflect organizational growth spurts ranging from 3-9 months.​

To begin exploring what this transformation phase for your organization or company might look like, we’ll have 1-2 introductory sessions before you receive an outline of customized services that will meet your organization/company’s current growth moment.

Sometimes organizations/companies arrive holding the idea that what they need is an anti-racism workshop. A single workshop is usually not sufficient or strategically wise as the only or first action a group can take to create racial justice transformation. Each group needs something different to kickstart transformation, and we’ll develop a vision of where to begin by going through the introductory session(s).
