People who work with me through Holistic Spiritual Coaching want help navigating the unknown. They want spiritual support. They are interested in trusting themselves more and listening to their bodies. They may want to collaborate with the universe or learn about themselves through their ancestors, tarot, astrology, or through decolonial and non-western lenses of living well. When going through a major change or period beyond what we understand, we need support from other people.
I offer Holistic Spiritual Coaching to people in the middle of a major change, as well as those seeking shifts, a-ha's, and getting unstuck. I prioritize using decolonial, non-western lenses for co-creating this coaching space and for understanding your needs, life, and transformations. I'm getting my PhD in East West Psychology at CIIS in San Francisco, and my practice is rooted in ancient and Indigenous understandings (including those of my ancestors in Europe) of what life, disasters, growth, change, and healing mean. I'm also a yoga and meditation teacher, Ayurveda practitioner, ancestral reconnection facilitator, and dancer. The teachings I prioritize as I hold space for you are those of non-western and/or ancient cultures. I am trauma-informed (trained by a western psychotherapist) and I am informed by my multi-decade commitment to and involvement in racial justice and anti-oppression movements. |

Here are some reasons and moments in life, spirituality, and psychology that may bring you to this Holistic Spiritual Coaching, which I consider to be “soul work.”
- Spiritual crises – something happened outside of how you thought the world works and it’s deeply upsetting or confusing how to move forward (might include how to cope/thrive in current political or global moment)
- Soul longings – longing for a more meaningful life or for a way of being and it’s unclear what this longing means or how to honor it (might include feeling stuck or a loss of momentum)
- Western wounds – feeling affected or restricted by the negative impacts of capitalism, colonialism, racism, the loss of your ancestral heritages, and/or lack of loving community or family
- Colonial trauma – want to explore and heal around the role colonialism plays in current life or played in life of family/ancestors, how being a “child of colonialism” (with ancestors experiencing colonialism OR causing colonialism) has negatively impacted you
- Intergenerational trauma – wanting to identify and/or move through intergenerational trauma from a spiritual approach grounded in Eastern and Indigenous global cultures’ ways of creating well being (including the Indigenous cultures of Europe)
- Soul wounds – wanting to honor and re-story the wounds you have experienced, and to use a spiritual, decolonial, and non-western approach, enabling you to step into your power and to lead from your gifts instead of your wounds
- Spiritual exploration - desire to develop or grow a spiritual approach to living, desire to explore how to live/implement your spiritual values, or can also be desire to receive support moving through a challenging change as a spiritual invitation

My clients may be curious about honoring their ancestors, balancing boundaries with heart-openings, or gaining more clarity about what they need right now. My clients have an inner knowing that they need something different than western psychology therapy. They need story framing, questions, tools, and openness rooted in ancient and Indigenous ways of being. My clients may be called by the earth, by their ancestors, by animals, plants, or maybe the sky. And they want someone with them as they show up to these calls, as they discover what life is teaching them. The Holistic Spiritual Coaching I offer asks you to stand in your leadership. I ask you to guide us, and I will also guide us. We collaborate. |

The teachings I’m rooted in and bring to our sessions go beyond western psychology, beyond German and American psychologists, into ancient traditions, spiritual teachings, and philosophies of living well, where health and mental health are not separate from each other or from experiencing community, belonging, and resiliency. These roots are more important to me in my life and as a Holistic Spiritual Coach than any western psychologist, though I study them too, mainly learning where their ideas originally came from, what they have taken from Eastern, African, Central and South American, Indigenous, pagan, and shamanistic cultures and spiritualities, and I return to the source. My practice of Holistic Spiritual Coaching sees spirituality, connection to the land and our ancestral cultures, our bodies, trauma-informed approaches, and anti-oppression approaches as essential to living well as individuals, friends/families, and as a community. Perhaps most importantly, this Holistic Spiritual Coaching is influenced by you. I will ask you directly what you want to focus on. And I will be with you, reflecting, guiding, and inquiring, including when you feel you don’t know what’s happening or what you need.
