Deepening our own connection to our ancestral cultures helps us better hold space for our clients' ancestral cultures. For Americans who feel separated from our ancestral cultures, many of us don't know where to start with this journey of ancestral reconnection. This Ancestral Cultural Competency workshop uses a cultural theme (this August 18th, the theme is: our ancestral lands) to give us a doorway into our ancestral reconnection process. This workshop provides: specific reflection prompts, research time, and community discussion for sharing feelings, resistances/doubts, questions, and joyful a-ha's.
Join Katherine Saviskas, she/her, as workshop participants encounter and articulate their current feelings and questions about their ancestral heritages. She holds space for participants to begin to explore a cultural theme (8/18: ancestral land) and look for facts, histories, emotions, and experiments regarding their cultural heritages that light them up with curiosity, meaning, and/or excitement.
Monday, 8/18 from 5:00 - 6:15pm over Zoom
$80 - register below
